Liked your tip for colored cardstock. I watched a video where the girl said you could Betterpress any colored cardstock by placing a paper towel on the platen first and spritz the CS with water, like with an embossing folder. She was right, you get that nice impression even with thin 65# card stock! Video by Studio Kato on UA-cam.

Kudos for saying the tongue twister "better BetterPress" several times! Such a clever idea to adhere colored cardstock to the BetterPress paper! Ink blending isn't a technique I use often so this solution means I can have the best of both worlds: colored cardstock backgrounds with a BetterPress impression. Lovely cards, as always.

Thank you, Carissa, for this video. I am scouring UA-cam to try and figure out how to get my stick back on my mat that fits inside my MISTI. I have always been careful to store it with the protectors on both sides but have found, after maybe a dozen uses, it's lost a significant amount of stick. I've washed it under cold water (no soap), let it air dry, but it still doesn't have much stick. Would you have any suggestions? I see you mention stamp cleaner but don't see it listed above as to which kind you use. I have a few different kinds but am not sure which would be ok to use. I wish Waffle Flower had a video specifically on cleaning. Thanks so much, I appreciate your creativity and your videos.

Never clean the brushes with anything wet it will ruin them all you need to do is wipe ttem on a towel

If you use silver pigment ink you get a better silver embossing
